Some folks might remember what I did last year, which was writing an awful lot of short stories during April. It was the A to Z Blogging Challenge, and I ended up with a whole lot of fun shorts. (You can still read them here – I haven’t gotten around to removing them yet.)
Well, I’m going to try it again this year, but with a twist. Because April is also the Camp NaNoWriMo event this year, I am going to try to do it A) all in April and B) with a total of 50,000 words. Because the A to Z Challenge will only post on 26 days of the month, I will want to produce 2,000 word stories.
Fun, right? There’s just something about this particular level of insanity that really gets my creative juices flowing. And then I’ll be able to say that I’ve also completed my first Camp NaNo. And hopefully, shortly before this particular challenge starts, I will have the bound version of my 2012 challenge ready for sale!
Ooh, excitement abounds!
