A to Z 2013

I’ll be combining Camp NaNoWriMo with the A to Z Blogging challenge this year, blogging 2,000-word chapters with titles (and/or themes) that start with the letter of the alphabet for the day. (Also I intend to introduce a secondary character in every chapter with a name that starts with the letter of the day – fun!) At the end I ought to have 50,000 and a cute little novella for my effort.

Yes, that will make my entries quite tasking for anyone stopping by. I’ll cut everything short(ish) by making full use of the “more” link to jump to the entire posting.

I’m sorry I haven’t been around too much lately. Any desire to do anything was pretty much sucked out of me quite violently after the holidays. I’ve been playing video games and watching television a lot, and dealing with parental duties. (Girl Scout Cookies, anyone? Oh, and this. Which is awesome.)

  1. Hooray for combining A-Z and Camp Nanowrimo!

I’m planning a slightly different tack and doing my A-Z posts actually about the Camp Nanowrimo program, or spotlighting other campers, like I did for Script Frenzy in 2012. After all, Camp Nanowrimo is a fairly new program and there’s probably lots of bloggers who haven’t heard of it. If they like what they see when they visit my blog in April, they can sign up for July!

I look forward to reading your posts, Chris! I know about NaNo, of course, and Camp seems sort of straight-forward, but I’m sure you’ll dig up a bunch of stuff I didn’t know, and I can’t wait!

That’s a cool plan! Thanks for the shoutout as well :)

Nothing like meeting a Challenge with a challenge. Glad to have you join us in April. I’ll be linking to your post today on my post at the A to Z Blog next Monday.

I can’t wait to read it, it sounds like a seriously challenging undertaking.

  5. Hi! I found you on the AtoZ Challenge sign up list. I’m a first timer on this bloghop, but I’m looking forward to the fun. Your blog is fantastic and I’ll definitely be stopping by to check out your challenge posts.

  6. I forgot Camp NaNo is in April this year. If I find myself between drafts of my current WIP like I’m hoping, that might be a good time to start my next project!

That’s such a cool idea for an A to Z theme. I love seeing the ideas everyone comes up with :)
