I was in a pretzel mood today, so I went to Philly Soft Pretzel Factory for dinner for the family. For $12 I got 10 huge soft pretzels and 4 pretzel hot dogs, and they went over well, I think.

Normally I wouldn’t go for something so obviously nutritionally deprived – especially with all the frosting I let the kids dip their hot dogs in – but today just sort of felt right. I’ve been sick for a few days, and I should have stayed home more than just the one day I managed to squeeze in. I had a hard day yesterday, and today was pretty much a wash, work-wise. And I managed to send off my taxes to be organized into some variance of either a credit or an amount owed.

So we celebrated with pretzels.
