I thought I would share some of my favorite recent articles from my feed reader with you, so you can get a taste of what kind of stuff I find interesting.
Behind the scenes: writing a design book: I’m completely overwhelmed just reading this. I can’t imagine how difficult this would have been, and it’s probably a very good example of why I haven’t edited any of my own works of fiction.
Cold Remedy: 18 Real-World Lifestyle Design Case Studies: I’m trying to work my way through these. The few I’ve watched are very inspirational, and I keep reading to keep motivated on finishing my second pass through Tim’s book.
Desktop Wallpaper Calendar: January 2010: Now this is completely awesome. The one I’m using at work I’m actually taking a few seconds at the start of each day to “scratch off the days that have passed, much like my son loves to do with the calendar by his bed. It’s fun! (Pointless? Probably.)
Fifteen Things to Have in Your Car This Winter: This is a great list. While I can’t afford to whip all of this together right this instant, I will definitely keep this list in mind for next winter. Dare I add a, for a mere $100-250, a jump starter/booster pack for those girls who frequently travel where there aren’t many other people around to help jump start your car? I want one. (And a snake, btw.)
